Amy Loveless

Associate Extension Agent,Family Nutrition Program, SNAP-Ed

Amy serves as the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) SNAP-Ed Extension Agent for the Stafford, Prince William, King George, Spotsylvania, and Caroline counties, and the City of Fredericksburg. 

 

Her role includes building partnerships to reach SNAP-eligible youth in early childcare centers, schools, and other community-based organizations. She provides trainings and resources to teachers, staff, and community volunteers to deliver evidence-based nutrition education and physical activity opportunities for youth ages 3 to 17.

Amy is involved in policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change initiatives throughout the communities she serves. This includes serving on community coalitions, school wellness initiatives, and partnering with food pantries, retail stores, and farmers markets to promote healthy food access and food security.
